A prospective customer sends you a 150-question security assessment, and your team spends days pulling together evidence, referencing old audits, and re-explaining the same controls in slightly different words for the fifth time this quarter.

This side of the table has its own pain: repetitive work, inconsistent answers across deals, and the constant pressure of proving trustworthiness to people who’ve never met you.

Why Most Tools Only Solve Half the Problem

Most platforms pick a side. Some are built purely for procurement and risk teams; heavy on scoring, workflows, and vendor tiering. Others are built purely for the vendor side, focused on answering questionnaires faster and reusing past responses.

The problem is that risk doesn’t actually work in one direction. Every company assessing vendors is also, somewhere in their own sales cycle, being assessed by their customers. Treating “Assess” and “Answer” as separate categories means most organizations end up stitching together two disconnected tools and losing consistency in the process.

The Dual-Sided Approach

3rdComply is built around a simple idea: assessing risk and proving trustworthiness are the same underlying problem, just viewed from different sides.

On the Assess side, you get verified, evidence-backed vendor risk assessments, not just completed forms.

On the Answer side, you get a system for building trust that’s reusable, consistent, and backed by real evidence instead of copy-pasted answers.

Because both sides run on the same foundation, the standard of “proof” doesn’t shift depending on which side of the table you’re sitting at.

Which Side Are You on Today?

Realistically? Probably both.
